Coaching isn’t just for the pros. RunningSmart's coaching services are designed for beginners, recreational runners, and runners returning from injury. I’m here to help you achieve your running goals: getting fitter, running stronger, preparing for your first race, or hitting a new personal best. Most importantly, I want running to remain something you look forward to.
I coach both road and trail runners, focusing on:
– 10 km, half marathons, marathons, and the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon (or equivalent distance)
5–55 km races
who are unsure how to start running, get fitter, or avoid injury.
who want to improve their running, train for a race, or achieve a goal.
who are returning from injury or dealing with recurring and persistent niggles, and need structured guidance.
I set up your profile on our easy-to-use app, tailoring your plan to your schedule, fitness level, and running goals.
Your runs are uploaded each week. Your watch syncs with the app (or you can provide manual feedback), allowing your coach to monitor progress, give guidance, and plan ahead.
Your plan is designed month-to-month, so you can pause, cancel, or use the service only when needed.
At RunningSmart, you’re not just getting a coach – you’re working with someone who understands both running performance and injury recovery. With a biokinetics background, I bring medical insight into your training, making sure your training plan supports your body, and your unique challenges.
Flexible and adaptable training is at the heart of RunningSmart coaching. I design every plan to fit into your lifestyle, rather than compete with it. That means you can pursue your running goals while keeping a healthy work–life balance and navigating family responsibilities.
With RunningSmart coaching, you won’t just get fitter – you’ll get stronger and train smarter.
